Questions to ask a wedding photographer:

1.  How long have you been in business?

2.  Do you work with more than one camera in case one has a problem?

3.  Do you bring an assistant with you to a wedding?

4.  Do you work under contract?

5.  Will you be the photographer that shows up on my wedding day?  If yes, can I get that written on the contract?

6.  What is your shooting style?  Traditional,  photojournalism, or a combinations of both?

7.  Do you shoot film, or digital, or a little of both?

8.  May I see some full wedding proof albums?

9.  Do you have any references I can check?
